Modeling opportunities with our organization are volunteer service opportunities and should not be confused with paid commercial modeling assignments.

As a nonprofit organization, our photoshoots are organized for specific purposes: promoting apparel that supports our programs, documenting the work and culture of our organization, and creating imagery that becomes part of our historical archive.

Before volunteering, please understand the expectations:

• Models are not financially compensated.

• Participation does not include complimentary apparel.

• Social media tags or individual promotion are not guaranteed.

• Photos from the shoot are not automatically provided to participants.

• When available, we may offer complimentary headshots and/or an apparel discount as a courtesy.

Our photographers and other creatives frequently donate their own time and talent to support our mission. Because of that, we do not want to create an additional expectation that they provide individual photo packages or personal galleries from an organizational shoot.

We are looking for individuals who understand that, within our organization, modeling is another form of volunteer service—just like packing orders, supporting events, creating content, or assisting with our programs. You are volunteering your time and likeness to help us tell a story, support our mission, and document a moment in our organization’s history.

We completely understand that this arrangement will not appeal to everyone. If you are seeking paid modeling work, guaranteed social media exposure, complimentary merchandise, or a personal portfolio shoot, our opportunities may not be the right fit for you.

There is nothing wrong with that.
