WHERES MY ORDER (02/09)

Hello Everyone,

This marks week five since my team and I returned to DC and week four since classes resumed. While both the Marketing and Fundraising teams are currently on an extended break, the work of the Order Fulfillment team has continued without interruption.

Our reduced presence on social media has not impacted operations.

During this time, I visited vendor facilities out of state, secured new manufacturing partners, became an authorized signer on our expense account, and completed training to reactivate our independent fulfillment system. These efforts have allowed us to increase workflow and close out outstanding issues that existed prior to my arrival.

The only unexpected pause in operations occurred due to a winter storm, which temporarily suspended activity from January 22, 2026 through February 2, 2026. The weather affected both our apparel suppliers and the carriers responsible for delivery.

Many of you may have noticed that we’ve implemented a new system for electronic delivery notifications, which is now active for all outgoing orders.

I’m scheduled to receive the final delivery log with expected arrival dates by Thursday at the latest and will continue to keep you informed.

My responsibilities include:

    •    Processing address changes

    •    Managing garment replacements

    •    Submitting refund requests to the Treasurer

    •    Filing lost/stolen package claims

    •    Overseeing inventory checks

Important notes:

    •    In-stock apparel ships faster than pre-order products.

    •    Pre-orders will soon be phased out for the public and reserved for family, friends, and donors.

    •    Undergraduates will no longer have access to vintage apparel.

    •    A separate website is being developed to manage apparel stored out of state.
