Last Bison Standing is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing emergency financial assistance to undergraduates facing unexpected hardships. Whether it’s tuition balances, housing insecurity, medical emergencies, or other urgent financial barriers, our goal is simple: keep students enrolled so they can graduate.

Every semester students experience emergencies they never planned for.

A loved one passes away.

A parent gets diagnosed with an illness.

A financial aid delay threatens housing.

A medical emergency interrupts school.

Hours Get cut.

A job is lost.

Sometimes a few hundred—or a few thousand—dollars determines whether a student stays enrolled.

40% of the Charitable Contributions to our  Organization come from Bison who didn’t graduate “on time” or Bison who didn’t finish at all. This speaks volumes because it means we have a herd who is dedicated to making sure that this current Generation have a little more financial support. What we do only works because of community.
