My name is Ayanna, and I serve as one of the Fundraising Chairs for Last Bison Standing.

Last Bison Standing is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing emergency financial assistance, scholarships, and educational support to students as they navigate their journey through higher education. Our mission is rooted in ensuring that financial hardship does not prevent deserving students from completing their degrees.

Today, we are launching a one-day flash fundraiser in support of one of our Baby Bison turned rising senior, Edmoni Jackson.

It has been our privilege to follow Edmoni’s journey since the day she stepped onto Howard University’s campus. We celebrated alongside her when she earned a perfect 4.0 during her freshman year, and today we’re asking our community to help us get her one step closer to the finish line.

Our fundraising goal for today is $3,220, which will completely satisfy her outstanding Fall 2025 balance.

For 24 hours only, every donation designated toward Edmoni’s Fall 2025 balance will also qualify for our Donor Match Program, with matching funds being applied directly to help reduce her Spring 2026 balance.

There is another easy way to support her. Every time Edmoni’s name is entered as a discount code when purchasing apparel through our website, we will apply a portion to her account.
